Four amazing rock/post-hardcore bands are taking turns on stages throughout the eastern US and Canada for the Game Changers Tour. We Came as Romans, Pierce the Veil, Bring Me the Horizon, and A Day to Remember are bringing their own brand of rock and are changing minds.
Up and coming band, We Came as Romans is ready to warm up the crowd and prime to rock. The alt-rock favorites of Pierce the Veil ignite and set the tone. This band has been touring non-stop since their last album release. During an interview in the winter, Vic Fuentes mentioned the band was about to go back into song writing mode; then the band joined the UK leg of this tour and kept on running. Nintendo copyrights be-damned; the stage is well decorated with vintage video game characters.

Bring Me the Horizon, who recently headlined the winter AP Tour, also scorches. Lead singer Oli Sykes brings the band’s brand of Christian-infused hardcore to the stage. The band plays all the favorites, and one or two obscure tunes.

A Day to Remember recently released a new album on Victory Records and is prepared to rock audiences out of their sneakers. The band has been performing an acoustic set at various local radio stations along the tour the morning of the show. These sets are a must listen. Lead singer, Jeremy McKinnon’s voice sounds flawless in these sets and the heart of the lyrics is truly piercing. In a throwback to many stage shows by the Flaming Lips, McKinnon gets inside an inflated ball and rides high on the hands of fans. It’s a bit stale, but the backlighting makes for a magical rock experience.

This is one tour that’s worth the (inexpensive) ticket.
